"Daya is in yoga teacher training right now & Corepower’s High Power Fusion class was the intensity she needed to experience only her 2nd time at corepower. Bella C is another great instructor that just about sold us on the membership. We cannot wait to sign up. Bella took Daya back to 2002 when Daya first started Bikram yoga— it was that intense. She wanted more then & she wants more now. Very sure that all the asanas known to fitness yoga and adiyoga were done in this class. We had to get photos of the mat. Daya was drenched & ready 4 immediate hydration, again. WILD ride, Bella C! Colleen was an amazing guide for our yoga instructor trainee, Daya. Colleen guided Daya to be mindful of form while transitioning between different asanas. We appreciate that reminder! First time Daya completed Yoga Sculpt with weights in high heat. She looks forward to returning for another class this week!"
"Honestly, I’ve always loved the garden of the gods studio. I love the way that they do their classes. But I am so upset and disappointed as our many of the other Yogi I’ve conversed with that. They just switched up, taking away our candle Hot Yoga classes for the 730pm that many of us ABSOLUTELY loveDDDD with a hard “D” to go to and added more C2’s, which I & many other don’t think was needed, took away many of the C1s, And just completely messed around the entire schedule, when there was a whole gang of us that absolutely love the nighttime candlelight classes, which a lot of Yogis decided to quit coming to Corepower and have gone to other Yoga Studios within the city, Although I still love the way the studio is set up but ever since Covid, It has got more “ corporateyyy” than the “original authenticity “and the original type of connection we had before the pandemic, was way more loyal and way more authentic, than it is after the pandemic, we lost a lot of good teachers that did a lot of the actual assisting & teaching correctly and just more attentive and loving than what’s presented these days, the studio gained a lot different teachers that are very awkward and don’t really do any of the assist like our older crew used to do, which is very upsetting, because it’s either they don’t really know how, or they’re not comfortable enough with doing the assists per person, which is quite disappointing because honestly that’s the whole part of Yoga, is connection, mindfulness, body connection to the heart, to the soul, to the brain ,all of it, so as we all know every time a company sells out, It always gets so bland and becomes, more for the money less about the original intention & connection part other than that, I still love many of the teachers, that are there, I’ve been a part of the studio for 12 years. I’ve taken two teacher trainings. Amazing, AMAZING, if you’ve never done a teacher training and you were looking to do it, do it they’re so worth your time and money, definitely ,the way they do their classes and the way that you learn is super great, It is absolutely perfect the way they set you up to become a teacher, or just know how to learn the poses and what they’re used for and what they mean ! PLEASE BRING BACK OUR CANDLE AT HOT YOGA CLASSES, PLEASE!! Sending love to all my current Yogi and Yogi teachers for Corepower! I’m loyal to this company even with the changes but If the people up top could take the people the Yogi’s that stay loyal and do continue coming to the studios in Account it would be very kind and feel heard. Thankyou love you all!"
"Wild! Wild! Wild ride with Bella C! Definitely won’t lose your form with Colleen S on the beat in yoga sculpt. I can’t wait to start my membership. This experience has been fantastic and very much unexpected for some reason. Took me back to 2002 when I first started yoga with Bikram yoga. INTENSE!!! & I do at least 2 flow classes a day for the past 3 years at different locations in the city, including infrared sauna. Corepower humidity heat hits different. So, nothing like this Corepower experience, though. This is the experience I need before continuing teacher training in India in the new year— the varying degrees of heat challenges my flexibility, range of motion, endurance, mental stamina, inversions, definitely my ego, and overall strength. My progression is here. I accept the leveled up challenge. I am on it!!! Next up is CoreRestore. I won’t underestimate this one. I’m brining a bigger towel! Haha"
