Outback Steakhouse

"My daughter turned 8 and her favorite food since she could eat table food has ALWAYS been steak (turns out it was because she can’t tolerate gluten). For her bday, she chose Outback in Colorado Springs on Geyser. We have a lot of kids so I imagined any server we had for the evening would likely be annoyed on a Saturday night, but our server introduced himself as Cade and made the evening so memorable. There is a book called Unreasonable Hospitality, and he could’ve written that book based on his care and attention to detail! He completely understood the assignment that our children and the birthday girl are our worlds. Plus it is fun having a nice night out as a family. Let’s be honest, eating out can be really expensive and these splurges don’t come as often as they used to. Often, I feel let down by the level of service and care. I would not have blamed Cade one bit if we were not a highlight of his Saturday, but I swear to you he made us feel like the most important family in the restaurant. He was SO good! I had to call his manager, Chris, after we left to share. We cannot let above and beyond go unnoticed or under appreciated. If you have read this far, go see Cade! "We were there on a weeknight for Date Night. It wasn’t very busy so that was really nice. Our server was attentive. I had the filet and Alice springs chicken, always been a favorite. My husband had a ribeye. Both steaks we cook great, my husband had a little more grisly than it should have been. But overall the food was great and the portion sizes were great!"

"I was having an early meal and originally was going to go to Carrabba's. They were closed at that particular time so I went to outback which is in the same parking lot. Aubrey was my server and was absolutely fantastic. I ordered filet mignon, mashed potatoes and broccoli and they were also delicious and hot. The salad was really good too. It was in the middle of the afternoon but it was very pleasant atmosphere and the team members seem like they were enjoying their time there. For me. That's always a plus. Well done Aubrey!"
