Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs Airport by IHG

"We were in town just for one night to attend the balloon festival. It was quiet, clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. We missed breakfast because we left too early, but it looked like they had a good offering. It was easy in and out, and we zipped on over to the park for the festival. Super nice lady working the nightshift. 😉"

"I stayed at the hotel the last week of February 2026. The room was quiet and clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast was a nice bonus. Hot, fresh, and there was enough variety so that I didn't leave for my meetings hungry. Coffee was so-so. (It could be a smoother blend and not as bitter). My only real complaint, and it's kind of a big one, is that the beds are way too soft, meaning you are swallowed by the mattress and you feel too warm at night. As someone who likes a firm bed, that's a problem. I understand hotel beds tend to be softer than what you might have at home, but I'm only 150 lb and I was sinking into the bed. Down pillows are also too hot. With a firmer mattress, it would have been a great experience."

"Overall the hotel was as expected of a Holiday Inn Express. The only real complaint we have is there is no airport shuttle on the weekends which isn’t immediately evident when you read the description so be aware of this. If we hadn’t checked the night before we would have returned our rental car early and have had to take a taxi or uber to the airport"
