"This is a free museum run by volunteers in the heart of Old Colorado City. It's worth going in at least once to check out and read up on some of the history of Colorado Springs. I learned a lot including how railroad workers used to slide down the Cog Railway on their butts to get home faster, a method that lead to some interesting innovations (and injuries). They take donations but it's not required."
"Our homeschool class had the “best time ever” learning about the history of OCC at this museum. The docents were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The kids in my class also want me to add that the museum is “Sigma”!!!! They had fun participating in the scavenger hunt, ringing the church bell and using the old fashioned gum ball dispenser."
"Really cool little museum. I'll have to stop by again. Volunteer lady was so sweet and knowledgeable."
