Peak Fly Shop

"Peak Fly Shop is hands-down our favorite fly shop in Colorado Springs — and this experience just reinforced why. They generously donated items for our military fishing giveaway, and it meant more than they probably realize. Supporting military families, giving back to the community, and genuinely caring about people is something Peak Fly Shop does naturally — not for recognition, but because it’s who they are. Every time we walk into the shop, we’re met with knowledgeable staff, a welcoming vibe, and a true passion for fly fishing. Whether you’re brand new or deeply experienced, they take the time to help you feel confident and excited to get out on the water. If you’re looking for a locally owned shop that supports the community, stands behind military families, and truly loves the sport — this is the place. We’ll continue to support Peak Fly Shop and recommend them to everyone we know. Thank you for your generosity and for being such a positive part of Colorado Springs. 🎣🇺🇸"

"I signed up for their “Learn How to Fly Fish” class and I had a really good time. This is the best deal in the springs because this store is the only store that offers 2 separate 4 hour blocks of instruction for around $230. The first half of the class our instructor Bruce spent time with us to explain how to read rivers, how aquatic entomology (specifically the study of water bugs and their metamorphic stages) plays into the bait you tie, river etiquette and much much more. Then on Saturday Bruce and I went up to a private section of a river to learn how to cast, read the insects of the river and most importantly how to fish! Bruce is very patient with newbies and will give you the skills to be successful. To prove that statement even further here are some pictures of the fish I caught! I would highly recommend this for people who want to learn a new life skill in an easy going environment. If you don’t have equipment yet don’t worry, the staff at the store will give you loaner equipment for no extra charge! The only thing you need separate from the original fee is your state fishing license. 10/10 would recommend."

"I've had nothing but good experiences coming to this fly shop. As a beginner to fly fishing and fly tying I appreciate all the knowledge I can get and they sure know their stuff! I've been to other shops that feel like they don't care to help or act like they're the best thing that's ever happened to fly fishing. That's not the case here. Reb helped me understand some things I didn't know and I'm sure it will make a world of difference in both fly tying and fishing. This is definitely my go to shop!"
