"Had such a great experience here today! I was able to drop off both my severely matted Persian cat and my Siberian Shiba dog with a very thick, cottony coat at the same time. We’ve always taken our Persian to the vet for a lion’s cut, which usually costs around $400 because they put her under anesthesia. That just wasn’t affordable right now, and her fur had gotten really bad. I honestly thought I might have to give her away because I couldn’t keep up with it. I called Fur and Feathers and asked if they could try shaving her despite how matted her fur was, knowing it might be difficult without anesthesia. And Christy did it! She even showed me the entire pelt that came off my cat. It was pretty wild to see, and even more amazing that she was able to shave her without anesthesia and without any nicks. My dog also looks so cute and sassy! She’s 10 years old, but I can already tell she’s feeling younger with all that extra fur gone. Best of all, I was able to get both of them groomed for $165, which is way cheaper than what we were paying before for just 1 animal. Christy is very nice, straightforward, and clearly very skilled at what she does. It’s such a relief knowing my cat can be shaved without needing to go to the vet. I will definitely be coming back before it gets that bad again. I’m just thrilled. Thank you guys!"
