Black Forest Meadows

"We recently got married at Black Forest Meadows and had a wonderful experience! Deborah and Ed have created a beautiful property that was exactly what we were looking for. They have years of experience and were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. The alpacas were such a fun and memorable part of our wedding day (our guests loved them) and it’s clear how well cared for they are. We also appreciated being able to visit the venue multiple times before the big day, and Deborah and Ed were always generous with their time and support in helping us coordinate the details. Although it rained (not uncommon for Colorado in late May), we still had a beautiful day. We held our ceremony on the lawn and moved the rest of the celebration under the pavilion. The two heaters were lifesavers (two more would have made it even warmer). The only thing we would have changed is having two separate getting ready spaces (one for each side of the wedding party), but we made it work! If you love animals, the outdoors, and want that mountain feel without the long drive, we highly recommend checking out Black Forest Meadows!"

"Black Forest Meadows was amazing! The beautiful serene setting made for the perfect backdrop for our wedding day! The whole property is immaculate and well taken care of, the barns, the pavilion, the ceremony site, and all the green grass is just perfect! Also, the owners Deborah and Ed, are the sweetest people and so helpful. They care about everything they do and the people they work with! "Sometimes in life you are grateful for your experiences, but you don’t know just how fantastic you actually had it until it’s over! John and I were married at Black Forest Meadows in August of 2022. This may have been the first wedding season Black Forest Meadows was up and running, but you would have never known it! John and I knew this was where we wanted to get married the moment we drove on the property. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease when Deborah shared her previous career in the wedding planning business back home in California. She was able to point us in the direction of our fantastic wedding planner Amy- and a list of recommended vendors. Her husband Ed was always found somewhere maintaining this stunning property! Deborah and Ed were so accommodating through the whole wedding planning process.They invited us to come out to the property whenever for any questions or if I just wanted to look at the site in order to envision how my day would look. Our big day was seamless! We enjoyed the weather, views, alpacas, corn hole, photo booth, and fire pit. We had special guests from Sugar Moon Mobile Bar and Josh and John’s Ice Cream. John and I achieved our dream intimate, outdoor, and laid back wedding. If we were to do it again, there isn’t a thing we would change. I frequently tell my husband that I want to Marry him again- at Black Forest Meadows!"
